Jodi K. Milks joined Grubb & Ellis|Paramount Commerce in Oct., 2005 as Managing Director of the firm’s Kalamazoo, Mich. office. In this newly created position, Ms. Milks, a Retail Advisor, is responsible for the daily management of the company’s growing southwest Michigan practice. Founded in 2004, G&E|P’s Kalamazoo office now includes five professional Advisors and a full-time Office Administrator.
A native of Kalamazoo, Ms. Milks brings more than 15 years of local experience to the company, spanning successful positions in commercial real estate as well as executive roles in property management and commercial lending. Her solid experience and industry insights further augment the firm’s depth of knowledge and expertise in the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek/Portage markets. Most recently, Ms. Milks served as an Associate Broker with PlazaCorp Realty Advisors, Inc. of Kalamazoo, and with Midwest Realty Group of Portage.
Jodi’s experience is well rounded in sales, leasing and retail tenant representation. In the southwest Michigan market, she has successfully represented landlords and owners in office, retail, vacant land and multifamily disposition and leasing.
Prior to her brokerage experience, Milks served as a commercial property supervisor with Kalamazoo’s Phoenix Properties. In this role, Ms. Milks managed approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of office and retail space comprising 100 area tenants. She also held impressive positions with the former Old Kent Bank (now 5/3 Bank), quickly elevating from a commercial credit analyst to an assistant vice president of Commercial Lending in just over three years.
A resident of Portage, Ms. Milks holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Administration from Michigan State University. A strong community supporter, Ms. Milks maintains several leadership positions, including Glowing Embers Girl Scout Council, the Kalamazoo chapter of the Michigan State University Alumni Club, the Financial Golf League, the Northside Business Association, Edison Mainstreet Committee, and the Downtown Kalamazoo Business Recruitment and Retention Committee. |
