Mr. Kuiper joined Grubb & Ellis|Paramount Commerce (G&E|PC) in 1999 as Director of Market Research. As he developed and enhanced this growing area of the firm’s business, John also cultivated a passion for the Advisor role of commercial real estate. Mentoring under Duke Suwyn, President and CEO of Grubb & Ellis|Paramount Commerce, John selected the firm’s Industrial Properties Group as his area of specialty. In the past two years, John closed more than $100,000,000 in transactions, representing approximately 4,000,000 total sq. ft. of Industrial property in Grand Rapids.
His penchant for preparedness and anticipating needs, versus reacting to situations, have earned John the respect of clients such as FIRST Industrial, SVN Equities, JL French, Terra Firma Development and Sassy Baby Products. Regardless of a client’s size, industry, or real estate needs, John’s creative, energetic approach achieves outstanding results.
John’s hard work and dedication to his clients is catching attention at the local, regional and national levels. He was recently honored in BDW’s “40 under 40” special feature, and in 2003, received the Circle of Excellence National Achievement Award as one of Grubb & Ellis’s top 100 advisors in the country for sales volume, training participation, mentoring and other areas.
